Paper Crown and Lauren Conrad

I have been a fan of L.C., umm I mean Lauren Conrad (former front runner of The Hill’s) every since her Laguna Beach day’s.  But anywhoo, her reality days are long over so I’m here to write about Lauren’s new line, Paper Crown that is due out next month (July).

You may remember that she had a line at Kohl’s or actually still does called LC Lauren Conrad but this new line is a bit different in style and design. I’d say the pieces are more interchangeable and can be worn throughout the entire year.

This lineup, which is priced between $69 to $400, includes covetable soft knits, silk blouses, cropped pants, tailored blazers, faux-leather shorts, flippy skirts, chiffon dresses, and floral prints.

Lauren is one of those designers who actually creates a look that she would wear herself and that would look great on the everyday average girl. I can actually see myself wearing her line to work and on the weekends, which is more than I can say for other designers!

Lauren created this line as a way for girls and women everywhere to have a look of glamor or class though simple statement pieces from her collection. Her thought behind Paper Crown stemmed from a childhood game of dress-up that she played with her Grandmother and I really love this personal touch she added from her own life.

In my opinion, this line is the perfect mix of class, modern and romance. One thing it’s not, too over the top trendy and this is defiantly a good thing because with tends coming and going so quickly, her pieces will outlast all others in terms if what’s in.

Paper Crown is very structured and clean with many pieces that can be worn together or with other clothing pieces. It’s great to invest in your look and I’d say make sure you have some Paper Crown somewhere in your closet!
